Jagmeet Singh was born in Punjab, India, and moved to Canada in 2011, where he completed high school and continued his studies. He is a Nurse Practitioner trained in Adult Acute Care (University of Calgary, 2022) and Primary Care for all ages (Athabasca University, 2024). Jagmeet has experience in inpatient spine surgery at Foothills Hospital and in primary care, managing chronic conditions like diabetes, hypertension, and high cholesterol, as well as minor acute illnesses.

He is passionate about helping patients stay healthy, prevent illness, and achieve their healthcare goals. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with family and friends and staying active at the gym.
